Huang Jin
Gui is slightly more oxidized than the Ben Shan, but
not so much that its wonderful floral aromas and
flavors are masked. The tea is unroasted, and aroma is
reminiscent of osmanthus flowers. But no flowers are
added to Huang Jin Gui: the perfume is just the
natural aroma of the tea. One of the charms of
semi-ball rolled modern-style ( greener style ) oolong
tea is the symphony of aromas that the processing
brings forth in the leaf of these tea bush varieties.
This style of oolong tea provides a seemingly endless
opportunity for tea enthusiasts to bask in the
glorious flavor of these teas.
