This highly
aromatic blended tea is perfect for late fall outdoor
gatherings day or night.
Created to
remember Guy Fawkes and to celebrate the spirit of
Bonfire Night (November 5th) in England.
Guy Fawkes was an Englishman and co-conspirator in the
Gunpowder Plot of 1605 in which he an his cohorts
planned to blow up both houses of Parliament in London
and kill king James I. The plot was foiled, Fawkes was
captured and taken in chains to the Tower of
London where he was hanged, drawn and quartered.
Today, Bonfire festivities throughout England
celebrate the yearly opening of the new session of
Parliament and Guy Fawkes is burned in effigy on
November 5th in bonfires all over England.
The longer a flavored tea is
steeped the more the base tea's flavor will dominate
and the less the aromatic qualities of the flavoring will be evident.
We recommend a 3-5 minute steeping for our flavored teas;
use a shorter steeping time if you want more flavor notes, and a longer
steeping time if you want more depth of flavor.
Water temperature should be 190˚ - 200˚ F |
